MITA technicians are committed to a higher standard of professionalism
in the industry. Through continuing education in a constantly changing
technology they keep their skills up to date and sharp. They are tested
by Manufacturers and colleagues alike to ensure the highest level of
technical competence. MITA members subscribe to a higher ethical standard
and are committed to fair treatment of their customers. At the annual
conventions they attend classes on sound business practice and ethics
in addition to 5 day schedule of technical presentations. No one in
the field receives more complete or well rounded training in the field.
HIRE A MITA TECHNICIAN AND YOU GET THE WHOLE
TEAM
Many members are experts in specialized technologies such as vintage
organs, amplifiers and synthesizers. Others are, or have been manufacturers
technicians and service managers for major electronic musical equipment
manufacturers. They share their experiences with technicians across
the globe, through automated email lists and web based forums. Those
same forums are monitored by the service departments at many manufacturers
where the in house technicians can provide instant answers to tough
problems. Any member can tap instantly into the collective knowledge
of the entire membership to resolve even the trickiest of troubleshooting
tasks. It is like having the knowledge of the entire team focused on
your piece of equipment.
HIGHEST LEVEL OF TRAINING IN THE INDUSTRY
MITA sponsors an Biennial Annual Convention and Seminar where members
attend classes in a wide range of technologies. These classes are taught
by factory technicians and representatives or experienced technicians
with specialized expertise in the technologies that they teach. The
technologies that are covered include:
~ Digital Pianos
~ Digital Percussion
~ Pro Audio Gear
~ Vintage Hammond Tone Wheels
~ Digital Recording Equipment
~ Vintage Tube Amplifiers
~ The Latest From Roland, Yamaha, Kurzweil and others
~ Much, Much, More
The convention is the only placed that a technician in the electronic
musical equipment repair industry can get this kind of depth and breadth
of training at the hands of the experts.
